What is financial planning?
Financial Planning is the art and science of developing financial strategies. We (as financial planners) look at where you (as clients) are and where you want to be, then we provide you financial advice related to the specific products that suit your needs. The hands of the artists (we) draw you the tailor-made picture (your plan), artistically (with the skills of financial planning) and scientifically (with the knowledge and tools of financial planning). The benefit is an in-depth review of your current financial situation and a roadmap that shows you how to achieve your goals and objectives.

How do we guide you on your financial roadmap?
First, we focus on your goals and priorities – what you want to achieve and when, and your values – what’s important to you.  Next, we look into your cash flow, insurance, estate planning, retirement and investments.  Issues are addressed and recommendations are given in the customised financial plan.  Finally, we help you implement your plan regarding insurance and investment.

Why should you ask us to help manage your money?
We are able to connect all the financial dots to provide you with an overall plan – what to do and how. Our expertise in financial planning add values to your effort on achieving your goals.  We know you and the financial products we recommend to you.  We may save you money via our advice on the right insurance products and create wealth by investing in the quality Managed Funds.

When should you seek financial advice?
Now it’s the best time – plan now so that you are able to focus on your goals.  Not only that, you’ll find our valuable advice enables you to cope with the life changes like your first job, buying your first home, getting married, etc.  

How do we walk you through the process of financial planning?
At the first meeting, we engage with you via Scope of Service, stating where you are, what you are after and what we can help, then we collect your personal and financial information.  We analyse your information and provide our recommendations in the financial plan that’s tailor-made to meet your needs and circumstances.  We implement your plan with the appropriate insurance products and Managed Funds.  Lastly the ongoing review is required to make sure the financial strategies are working towards your goals. 

What types of financial products do we provide advice for?
We provide financial advice on insurance products provided by Fidelity Life, AIA and Accuro.  We also provide finance advice on Managed Funds offered by fund managers locally and internationally.  About superannuation like KiwiSaver, we provide advice on OneAnswer KiwiSaver, AMP KiwiSaver and Fisher Funds KiwiSaver.

You are encouraged to call us when you have a major life event, such as a new job, a marriage, or divorce, etc.  We also encourage you to call us with more common everyday questions, such as: “How should I invest with my KiwiSaver?” “Which managed fund should I be investing in?”

How do we charge?
We charge fees for consultation, plan writing and ongoing monitoring of Managed Funds.  You will be informed of the fees before the work is done.  Please refer to our Disclosure Statement for details.  

How are we paid for our services?
We are paid by our clients via the fees we charge above.  We also receive commissions from the insurance companies through the products we place with them.  Please refer to our Disclosure Statement for details. 

What kind of certifications should we have?
Our financial planner, Tina Chen, got Graduate Diploma in Business Studies (majored in Personal Financial Planning) from Massey University in 2008.  She’s an Authorised Financial Adviser (2011-2021) and a Financial Adviser (from 2021) by Financial Markets Authority.  She’s awarded “Trusted Adviser” by Financial Advice New Zealand in 2020, being recognised with the high level of qualification, experience and ethics.

What makes us different from other financial planners?
Firstly, our values on wealth – to be rich is good, to make an impact is better.  We work best with those who want to leave a legacy behind.  Secondly, our focus on holistic planning – a comprehensive plan now and the ongoing monitoring in the future.  Finally, our passion for the quality of life – money is simply a means to an end and not the end itself. 

What can you do when you want to complain?
First of all, you contact our financial planner, Tina Chen.  She’ll try to resolve the issue within 10 working days.  If it’s not possible, she’ll inform you of the number of days needed.  If the issue remains unsolved, you can contact Insurance and Financial Service Ombudsman (IFSO) via 0800 888 2020 or info@ifso.nz.

从第一次见面开始,我们彼此了解,您想要的正好是我们能够提供的,那么签约合作,并收集您的个人和财务信息。接着我们分析这些信息,做大量的调研,提供具体的建议,写出一份量身定制的计划书。然后我们根据您的决定,安排合适的保险产品和管理基金。最后年审或应您的情况而审,以确保您的实际情况和相应的理财策略能够有效地实现您的目标。

我们给哪些金融产品提供建议?
在保险方面,我们推荐 Fidelity Life, AIA, Accuro的产品,并提供具体的建议。在基金投资方面,我们推荐优质的基金并提供建议,这些基金由本地的和国际上的基金公司组合。在养老储蓄方面(如KiwiSaver),我们推荐OneAnswer KiwiSaver, AMP KiwiSaver, Fisher Funds KiwiSaver,并提供建议。

我们如何收费?

我们如何得到服务费?
当您接受我们的服务时,您给我们支付服务费(即上一个问题里的收费)。在我们给您安排了保险产品后,保险公司给我们支付佣金。详情请参阅我们的披露声明

我们应该持有什么样的理财规划资格?
2008年我们的理财顾问陈惠蓉女士获得新西兰梅西大学的商科学历(即Graduate Diploma),2011-2021年期间新西兰金融市场监管局授予她“持牌理财顾问”的资格(即有资格提供理财规划和投资建议),并且从2021年开始持有“理财顾问”的资格(同样具有资格提供理财规划和投资建议)。2020年新西兰金融建议协会授予她“可信赖顾问”称号,表明她的资格、经验和职业道德不但高端,而且得到消费者的认可。

我们有什么与众不同之处?
